A cozy, versatile chukka boot crafted to commemorate the iconic Hawai'iloa voyaging canoe, Manu Ihu dons a 20-triangled kapa design on the heel signifying the 200-foot height of the Sitka Spruce trees from Alaska, gifted to the Hawaiians to build the historic wa'a (canoe)
The upper of the Hawai'iloa Manu Ihu features a soft, waterproof leather nubuck upper with blended wool lining. A laser-etched detail with hand stitching also graces the upper. The footbed is made of lightweight and supportive single-density poured PU anatomical footbed with a soft microfiber cover and sublimation printed Hawai'iloa artwork that is removable /washable. Finally, the outsole is made of lightweight compression molded EVA and a non-marking 'Wet Grip Rubber' outsole traction inspiredby Hawai'iloa carving. Additional features inlcude inspiration by the Hawai'iloa voyage as this boot has custom hand stitching in the forefoot, laser-etched artwork on heel, and a pull loop at the heel.
